SaaS Subscriptions Dataset Generator

One row = one subscription month

Fast path to a dashboard-ready CSV

Start with 100 rows, generate in the browser, then download a BI-ready CSV or JSON file. SaaS Subscriptions keeps protected realism rules, stable field order, and clear row grain so beginners can move quickly while advanced users still get coherent dashboard data.

Trust and realism proof

MockRows describes the row grain, repeated IDs, lifecycle blanks, and metric formulas so dashboard users know how to analyze the file without double-counting or trusting random-looking data.

What the SaaS Subscriptions dataset contains

Monthly subscription snapshots with stable customers, plans, seats, billing intervals, payment states, MRR movements, churn, cohorts, and reactivation.

Dashboard questions you can practice

Practice current MRR, ARR run rate, active subscriptions, New Business, Expansion, Contraction, Reactivation, Churn, plan mix, and paid cohort analysis.

Data grain and quality rules

Unique subscription_month_id values protect the row grain. Filter one snapshot_month for current MRR, count subscription_id distinctly, and treat failed trials separately from paid churn.

Frequently asked questions

What does one row represent?
One row represents one subscription observed in one calendar month.
Can I sum MRR across all rows?
For current MRR, first filter to one snapshot_month. Summing every month would double-count recurring run rate over time.
Are failed trials counted as churn?
No. A failed trial has no paid cohort or churn classification because it never entered the paid recurring-revenue base.
